HEALTHCARE LINK and Global Health

  • HEALTHCARE LINK focuses on strengthening service delivery, and reducing the alarming health disparities between developed and developing countries  through strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, recognised charity partners and ministries of health, to ensure healthcare supplies reach the poor and underserved populations.
  • HEALTHCARE LINK gathers and re-distributes new and unused overstock medical supplies, working and refurbished equipment reclaimed from the UK Healthcare system, manufacturers, and wholesalers, to a network of limited resourced hospitals and clinics that serve the poorest segments of the population in Zimbabwe, DR Congo, Sierra Leone, and Malawi.
  •  In a country like  Zimbabwe, the social & public services infrastructure has become obsolete and people are dying from treatable diseases such as cholera and dysentry. The dedicated healthcare professionals can not deliver  care or perform surgical procedures due to  the lack of basic supplies such as suture, fluid giving sets or basic surgical equipment, and as a result the average life expectancy at birth is as low as 33/34 years old, compared to the U.K’s 71/81 respectively

SPONSOR-A-CONTAINER-OF-HOPE PROGRAM-A typical HEALTHCARE LINK assembled and CSR Partner Sponsored ocean container shipment, delivers  up to £100,000 in approxmate value of essential medical supplies and equipment including:

It is the policy of HEALTHCARE LINK that all materials be ready for immediate use.
